Our Funds
Mecosta County Community Foundation has grown to include over 90 different funds and assets of $5 million. Our funds benefit the community of Mecosta County in a variety of ways. These funds include unrestricted, field of interest, agency endowment, designated, donor advised, and scholarships.

Advised Funds
Advised funds are convenient, flexible tools for donors who want to personally recommend grant awards form a fund they have established at the Community Foundation.
Designated Funds
Designated funds are established by donors to benefit specific charities or programs of a nonprofit organization.
Unrestricted Funds
Unrestricted funds enable the Community Foundation to address the changing and most critical needs of Mecosta County. These funds provide maximum flexibility and allow us to make the greatest impact in our community.
Field-of-Interest Funds
These funds allow donors to support the issues and causes they care about most. The donor chooses the interest area for which their fund can be used and our board recommends grants to address needs within that field.
Scholarship Funds
Scholarships funds help high school students in Mecosta County achieve their educational goals.
Agency Endowment Funds
These funds are established by a nonprofit organization, school, or government entity to benefit their organization. Funds can be used for the overall organization or specific to a program run by the organization.
