Chippewa Hills graduates Emma Eldred (on left) and Paige Karamer (on right) recently were awarded scholarships from the Mecosta County Community Foundation.
Emma received the Jacob & Gertude VanDyke scholarship and plans to attend Saginaw Valley State University in Nursing. She hopes to return to help people in her community.
Paige received the Ken & Aletha Sutherland scholarship and plans to attend Alma College to study biology and eventually attend medical school.
