The Mecosta County Community Foundation is gearing up for our Match Day 2012 fundraising event! This year the event is Tuesday, November 13th, from 11:00am to 6:00pm at the Big Rapids Holiday Inn. KID$ CA$H INFORMATION
The intent of KID$ CA$H is to help youth understand the importance of giving back to the community. One way to give back is through individual philanthropy, and Kids Cash and Match Day is an opportunity to mentor and encourage our youth to become givers and philanthropists. It is good for the participating youth and good for our community.
- All youth are invited to participate, up to and including students with a college I.D.!
- Cash presented by youth at the MCYAC Youth Table will be matched dollar for dollar from a Kids Cash Match Pool separate from the regular Match Pool.
- Each dollar presented will have a “KID$ CA$H” dollar attached to it. The donated dollar and the KID$ CA$H dollar must be presented together to the organization of your choice. A KID$ CA$H dollar is worth a full, real dollar.
- A maximum per youth match is $20.00.
- The KID$ CA$H donation will not be included in the prizes for the participating organizations nor will they be matched with Match Pool funds.
